The Shaker Clock- The beginning and door construction

Two weeks ago I began making this Shaker clock. The plans are from Fine Woodworking On-Line Magazine. The majority is made out of cherry while the back and lower door panel is birdseye maple.

Today I had a few hours to create the door. Cutting the mortise and tenon joinary was a little challenging because of the 1/2 thickness of the stock. There was very little room for error. Thankfully I didn't blow out the side of any mortise when I chiselled them out.
